The weather has finally broken and while it isn’t warm the sharp cold snap seems to have released us from its grip. The fishing conditions have been variable with some coloured water after heavy rain but mostly fairly clear.
Fishing Report W/E 26th Jan 2020
Its been a really busy week inspire of the cold and the lakes have been fishing really well. In fact over the weekend everyone caught their limit which is great.
The Specimen Lake continues to produce well to small nymphs such as Damsel with flash but also Cats Whisker if not too big. In addition one or two have been catching on BloodWorm and buzzers!
The normals are all fishing differently and there is a wide range of flies being used - great for the angler but tricky for us when trying to suggest flies to new comers:)
Thanks to all of you who have braved the cold - you have been rewarded with good fishing but we welcome the support this time of year:)
