Fishing continues well at Bellbrook 23rd Jan 2016

Cracking days fishing for Darren Bucknell from South Molton landing his three fish for 18-8 using his brand new Orvis rod (Christmas present!). Best fly was a Montana and best fish was 8-8 as pictured below. It will be entered in Tout Masters so...

Nick Lake had a successful day on Tuesday with 5 fish from the normals for 13-12! Using a green and yellow blob he also had 2 wild brownies! He says it was worth the cold lol....

Fishing week ending 6th December 2015

Better conditions on the weekend finally. Had some good sport with a range of flies producing.

Ian Nadin of Collumpton caiught his 5 fish limit on the normals with a total bag of 11 - 8 mostly caught on the drop using a Hairs Ear.

Some great fish caught at the weekend.

Ian Nadin from Cullompton had a total bag of 4 fish for 20lb 8oz which included a 9lb 2oz and 6-10 from Ironmill - see piccies below.

The Bellbrook Cup Fishing Report – Heat Three 17th May 2015

(Photos at the bottom) The weather was kind to the competitors again with a nice calm day and not too much sun. Plenty of fish were caught and most of these were in the top 2 feet of water with slow sinking wet flies.

Bellbrook Fishing Report week ending 20th March 2015

We have enjoyed some lovely spring days for the past few weeks and some of the afternoons are positively balmy!

Ian Connabeer from Totnes caught this cracking 11-13 Rainbow on a Blue Damsel on the Specimen lake at the weekend. He was chuffed as it's his biggest ever! It's been entered for TroutMasters but we know there is a bigger fish in there somewhere.....
