Fishing Report W/E 16th Nov 2018

After all the rain last week the fish are in fine fettle! It's been a cracking week with all the lakes producing well and most fishermen catching their bag.

Fish continue to come out inspite of the very warm weather. The considerable quantity of rain this week has helped freshen things but I've been pleasantly surprised how well the lakes have been fishing.

The weather has been a mixed bag with alot of rain causing some coloured water this week. However we have been busy with some good catches - just bring the right clothes!

Having had some colder nights at the fishery the warm water has definately gone! All lakes are fishing well and it is especially good to see the Specimen lake producing consistently.

Fishing Report for 2nd Heat of Bellbrook Cup (£1000 cash prize!)

The second heat of the Bellbrook Cup took place at the end of May and a challenging day’s fishing it was too. The weather was cloudy at first but still warm although there was one very heavy down pour - nothing these anglers couldnt handle!

9th May 2016 Another big fish from the specimen lake

Tom West of Chudleigh caught this 13-2 monster on a Bloodworm. Tom was part of a family competition and won the day catching this with the last cast of the day!!!

Big Fish at Bellbrook

Ian Connabeer from Totnes caught this cracking 11-13 Rainbow on a Blue Damsel on the Specimen lake at the weekend. He was chuffed as it's his biggest ever! It's been entered for TroutMasters but we know there is a bigger fish in there somewhere...

Fishing in the sun

As it pours with rain this morning it is nice to remember that only Monday the fishing was perfect - see Phil Clinch enjoying the winter sun and hard fighting fish. This was a 5 lber but it took 10 mins to land.

The Annual Christmas Fish Off will take place at Bellbrook on Sunday 16th December starting at 9:)

Its the usual format with Christmas hats, mince pies, warming lakeside hot punch and a cheerful hot lunch. Its the perfect antidote to Brexit and proof that there are far more interesting things to focus on:)
